Having fished with the top guides in Miami, I can assure you Jose is at the top of his game. He comes extremely well-prepared, is knowledgeable as to the precise location and type of bait you will need, and he will put you in position to land that trophy fish of a lifetime. If you want non-stop fishing fighting action and someone who is a pleasure to fish with, I cannot recommend Jose highly enough.

I walked in to Capt. Harry’s to purchase gear for my new custom 23 foot boat. Fortunately, I stumbled across a business card, “Night Time Fishing”…….. I’ve fished the saltwater my entire life on the East Coast, but new to Miami waters. Our first trip ended up being one of many action packed trips filled with Tarpon, Snook, Snapper, Jacks, Permit, and Tuna. The greatest advantage of having Jose captain my boat was his knowledge of the lay of the land like his backyard, always felt safe during the late hours. Bait is key, and there was never a shortage on any trip. A simple text would let me know where the fish are and what the game plan was for the evening. Fisherman are known for not sharing their honey holes……. Jose took me to the biting spots every time. Most importantly, he’s kind and patient, super kid friendly, can teach any beginner, leaving any family or friend I took with a smile on their face. It’s hard to beat a local sharing his game. Jose guided me through the local waters, as a local, that gave a seasoned fisherman countless memories ill, nor my family and friends, will ever forget. Simply said, thankful for Jose

Being unfamiliar with local waters and techniques, I was so grateful to have met Jose with Tikifish Adventures.  He masterfully put my son and I on fish, while also sharing insights into various species, their preferred baits, how to work the tides and structures.  He’s even taught me things about my own boat, and helped secure all of our necessities.  He’s great with families, incredibly hardworking, and the best guide I’ve had in 50 years of fishing across North America.
